Russian, Uzbek leaders hold talks on energy partnership via phone call
The leaders explored strategic partnerships across multiple sectors, emphasizing energy projects and initiatives. Central Asian nations, including Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, have increasingly supplied energy to Europe using infrastructure initially built for Russian-European energy exports since the start of the Ukraine conflict in 2022.
